I am a student of IT security in Bochum, Germany, and generally a technology enthusiast.

My main interests lie in server administration, operating systems, and networking.
While I enjoy coding, I mostly write scripts and do a bit of low-level programming (embedded, CLI apps, …).
Let's say I wouldn't describe myself as a classic (web/app/…) developer, more as a tinkerer. I code where a DIY project requires it and I like to write tools that make my life easier.

I'm a big fan of the open-source movement and of free software.

I'm a big advocate for privacy.
I don't agree with the mindset "I have nothing to hide, so I don't need privacy". I consider it a fundamental right that must be protected.
